Nan's Needleworks, a yarn boutique established in 2010 by Ruth Newman, is more than just a store; it's a culmination of passion for high-quality natural fiber yarns and a dedication to the craft of knitting. From the humble beginnings of Ruth’s childhood knitting in East Texas to her years as a CPA, her heart has always been tethered to the rhythm of the needles and the beauty of yarn.
Over the years, we have become a sanctuary for crafters, offering an extensive assortment of natural fiber yarns sourced from every corner of the globe. Whether it's the silky touch of Alpaca from Peru, the robust texture of wool from New Zealand, or the unique offerings from US Indy Dyers, our boutique is a testament to the diverse and rich world of yarns.
Our New Chapter in Cottonwood Shores
After 13 years of being a cornerstone in the Texas Hill Country's knitting community, we are excited to announce that Nan's Needleworks has moved to a new location: 4315 FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657. Our doors will softly open on December 20th, and we invite you to join us in celebrating our grand reopening and 14th Anniversary on January 11th.
